Internship at Backyard Broadcasting
My internship was with Backyard Broadcasting. Backyard Broadcasting is a locally owned radio station in Williamsport, PA. They broadcast 5 frequencies for each of the stations owned and have live hosts to engage the community more. I was a digital media/graphic design intern. Some of my tasks included, creating and updated flyers and brochures for clients and sponsors, editing videos and other media for clients, creating certificates for contest winners for the stations, creating graphics for each of the station websites, and I even got to go on the air with some of the radio hosts! I had such a wonderful time at my internship. I not only got the full experience of a graphic artist working with real clients, but I learned new skills that can be used in the years to come! This career is something I could definitely see myself doing after I graduate!
First Cookout of Spring

The goal was to enjoy each other's company within the community over good music, food, and drinks. This flyer was created with Adobe Photoshop.

This piece was made during my Winter 2022 Internship at Backyard Broadcasting. This is a promotional flyer for clients who are looking for an investment during the NASCAR season. It contained different packages a client could buy and prizes that were to be given away. This flyer was created with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

This piece was made during my Winter 2022 Internship at Backyard Broadcasting. This is a promotional flyer for clients who are looking for a deal with their commercials. It also included a prize for clients who have purchased any of the investments. This flyer was created with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
WILQ Featured Contest
This piece was made during my Winter 2022 Internship at Backyard Broadcasting. For the WILQ website, there are contests that get promoted frequently, but there needs to be a placeholder when there is no current contest. This placeholder was created in Adobe Photoshop.

WZXR Bridal Expo Webpage
This piece was made during my Winter 2022 Internship at Backyard Broadcasting. There was a Bridal Expo event and I assisted in putting the information on all 5 affiliated radio station websites. Some of the logos were recreated by me in Adobe Photoshop, but I also used the knowledge of coding that I have to search through the code to find lost images and even showed my art director how to do it. This was also on a new website software called Frankly Media.

WZXR Live on Location
This piece was made during my Winter 2022 Internship at Backyard Broadcasting. For the station WZXR, they offer remote packages where we will come to your event and broadcast updates live on the radio. The flyer was created on Adobe Illustrator.

During my Spring 2023 semester I was contacted about a student testimonial. I was able to provide a summary of my internship for upcoming interns to read and be able to help with any questions they may have.
