Elden Ring is an action role playing game where you go around defeating monsters and other bosses. The game overall looks very realistic, even though there are no tree monsters like the Tree Sentinel.

To begin with, the character the user plays looks very realistic, with correct body proportions and realistic movements. The colors used in the game are very realistic, with shades of green for the grass and basic colors for clothing. Due to the timeframe of the game the clothing is very on point, as well as armor. The game goes into detail for the environment by having realistic wind blowing through the grass, swaying the trees and even shaking the leaves in the wind. Throughout the game there are weather cycles that include different weather effects, such as rain and snow, but the wind also seems to affect the precipitation which is a very cool feature of the game. The game also adds shadows to everything along with realistic clouds, and even ray tracing. As the character goes into the sun the visibility increases, as well as the sunlight can be reflected off of armor and other objects that are reflective. The game also has a daylight cycle which adds to the overall realism in the game. If watched closely, shadows can even be seen on the trees themselves, such as leaves shadowing other leaves that are behind the leaves in the sun.
Another detail about the game is that during battles if the enemy swings its weapon and hits a tree, that tree will fall. In addition, as characters, including NPCs, walk through a bush, or patch of taller grass the motion is detected and acts accordingly, which again, adds to the realism of the game. Another cool design element they add in is leaves falling off of trees, or any other particles they would like in the game. They do also have realistic liquid splatters, such as blood if a character gets hit.
