What This Blog is All About!

This blog is based around video games, and not just storyline or the characters, but the graphics! Each game has different art styles, color palettes, and other interesting features just put into the design, and this blog is all about the art styles and graphics! From Minecraft to the new Pokémon Legends Arceus, there are going to be a lot of games we cover just for their artwork. Each week there will be a new blog post going into detail about a different game, and the games range from playable on PC, Xbox, and even Nintendo Switch Systems.

There are many ways to go about a game's design and art styles, for example, Call of Duty is a more realistic style of game, with realistic body proportions, five fingers, a normal sized head, and realistic skin colors for the characters. As compared to a game like Animal Crossing, where the hands are just balls, the head is the same size as the character's body, and even crazy skin colors like pure white, blue, and even purple. Color palettes also range in each game, such as a more neutral color palette in Call of Duty, with real-world colors, versus Animal Crossing again, with more vibrant colors and even the added bonus of shifting color palettes during different seasons and at different times of day.
